DVR Pays for Itself Day 1

I have installed quite a few camera systems over the years. Common places were restaurants and gas stations. I would work on the site for a day or so placing cameras, setting the images just right, and hooking up the DVR. During this time I would invariably have one or two concerned employees complaining about their right to privacy and wanting to know what direction the camera was pointing. I always told them it covered 360 degrees. To keep from being an actual liar I said it jokingly with a “don’t worry about it because it’s none of your business” smile. Once, I got a call from an upset owner telling me “I had two employees quit the same day you finished putting in the cameras.” My response was “Your DVR just paid for itself.”

If you do decide to install a DVR system in your business because you have a problem, please don’t call me to complain that you had employees quit.  You already know what I will say.
